STREETCAM
Google Street View, rebuilt as a virtual digital camera.
Streetcam turns Google Street View into a virtual photography tool. Explore locations, frame an image, adjust the virtual camera, switch orientation, and capture photographs from almost anywhere in the world.

The Idea
A world already photographed.
I wanted to know what would happen if Google Street View felt less like a navigation tool and more like a camera. Instead of simply looking around a location, Streetcam lets you deliberately frame it, photograph it, and treat the entire world as a virtual photo studio.
How It Works
Explore, compose, capture.
Step 01MOVE
Explore
Move through a Street View location and find a frame.
Step 02FRAME
Compose
Adjust orientation, zoom, aspect ratio, and camera framing.
Step 03SAVE
Capture
Press the virtual shutter and save the resulting photograph.
Camera Controls
A minimal viewfinder.
